Mel’s train cushion

Mel sent us a picture she made for her train-mad son from left over scraps of Buttonbag fabric.

Hi Mel, this cushion is brilliant – we’re sure your son loves it! Sara and Sarah

Courtney

March 27th, 2012

Courtney has just spent two  weeks with us on work experience from Stoke Newington School in Hackney. She arrived last Monday morning ready to learn all about Buttonbag and was soon busy trying out designs for a newrange of easy sewing kits for very young children. Here she is with a turtle of her own design.

Courtney also helped out  on another projects -  an update to our Nativity and Fairytale Peg Doll  kit. In this new kit children cut out costumes printed on a cotton panel, colour them in and tie, glue or sew them onto pegs to make a set of Nativity Peg Doll Kits.

Here she is helping our photographer dan get a close-up of the Fairy peg.
